Inman Motocross Members:
Thank you for joining Inman Motocross! Many of you have noticed some improvements to the facility yes, we finally have a fence! Now only paying Members will have access to the track.
The track will be locked up starting September 25, 2008. Please use the enclosed key to gain access to the track from October 13, 2008 through December 31, 2008.
From September 25 through October 12, the track will be closed to all Members due to track preparation for the October 5 CKMS Motocross Race and the October 12 CKMS ATV Race. The track will reopen to Members on October 13 only Members with a key will have access to the track from then on.
Always use the north entrance to the park and enter the motocross track at the orange gate which will have the Member padlock. Park your vehicles on the northwest corner during non race days. From now until January 1, 2008, the lock will simply be attached with a chain wrapped around the post and gate. ALWAYS lock the gate behind you when you enter and when you exit. You have paid for a membership dont let others get by without paying. In fact, there is an Inman Ordinance that allows us to confiscate your motorcycle if riders are found riding without a membership or paying for riding as a guest. If the track is closed due to race preparation, the Member lock will not work.
Starting January 1, 2009, a new lock will be installed and the enclosed key will no longer work. 2009 Membership Application Forms will be available on our website (www.inmanmx.com) starting in December 2008. The website is the best way to get the membership application forms simply download it and print it. New keys will be mailed after we receive your completed 2009 Membership Application Form and payment. The 2009 membership fees will be the same as 2008 fees 2009 Memberships will be $100 if purchased before August 1, 2009 and will be reduced to $70 if purchased after August 1, 2009. Residents of the Inman School District will only have to pay $10 for their yearly family membership. In the past, residents of the Inman School District received a free membership. The new fee of $10 is to cover the cost of the keys. Remember that each family membership is good for immediate family members who live with you only. Only one key per Membership will be sent.
Non-members may be
a guest of a Member for riding purposes only when the Member is present. The
Member assumes all responsibility for the actions of the Guest who must abide
by the same rules as Members. Guests must pay a $10.00 per day per rider fee
and all guests (riders and non-riders) must sign the sign-in form. A box with
Guest sign-in forms and a drop box for the completed guest sign-in forms and
payments will be available at the main (orange) gate near the padlock. Please
ensure that all of your guests sign the sign-in form and the riders pay the
fee. The Member bringing the guests is responsible for filling out the Guest
sign-in form and getting their signatures. Members bringing guests without
signing the form or paying the fee could get their membership revoked.
Please review the enclosed Rules you have all signed this page and we expect you to abide by these rules. Trash has recently become a problem remember take your trash home with you. We do not have the resources to maintain a trash dumpster on the northwest corner of the track.
Inman Motocross Inc. is incorporated as a not for profit organization. All money from races, memberships, and guests, goes right back into maintaining and improving the facility. So far, there has been a handful of dedicated members (volunteers) that have been doing the majority of the work if you are interested in helping, please let us know. We can always use the help, especially during the organized practices and races.
